Children's Advocacy Center - Serving the needs of children who have been sexually abused or who have suffered severe physical abuse.  The Club has sponsored a sharing room at the Center.

Dress for Success - A not-for-profit organization that helps low-income women make tailored transitions into the workforce.  Our Vocational Services Committee arranged a Suit Drive to benefit Dress for Success.

A Gift for Teaching - Ensuring that children and classrooms in Central Florida  have the basic tools for learning.  The Club donates school supplies to A Gift for Teaching.

Keep Orlando Beautiful - The Club holds scheduled clean-up days at the historic Orlando Train Station.

Literacy Projects - Financial assistance is given to the Adult Literacy League, Head Start, and the Winter Park Library.

Local Scholarships - The Club awards scholarships to deserving students in all fields of academic and vocational study.

Public Seating - In the 1940s, Altrusans saw the need to provide public seating.  Through Metropolitan Systems, public seating is provided throughout the community, as well as free publicity for organizations such as the Adult Literacy League, Keep Orlando Beautiful and the Children's Advocacy Center.  Altrusa also receives funding from the project, which is donated to these and other worthwhile projects supported by our Club.

And others, such as Seniors First, S.T.E.P.S and Great Oaks Village.
