On March 27, 2004, Altrusa hosted its 13th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon at Rio Pinar Country Club.  Dress Barn provided the fashions that were modeled by Altrusa members.  Hairstyles for the models were provided by Altrusans Barbara Brown and Doug Adams of Studio V.  Many businesses and individuals contributed goods, funds and services for the silent auction and door prizes.  

The event was a tremendous success.  A donation in the amount of $4,675.00 was presented at our June meeting to the Children's Advocacy Center.  The Children's Advocacy Center evaluates and treats nearly 5,000 children each year for the most serious forms of child abuse--sexual abuse, broken bones, and burns.
