Grace dedicated her life to music. She and her husband, Harold, spent 40 years touring the country as a professional piano team. Grace and Harold never had children, but Grace spent much of her time working with young musicians, sharing her talent through instruction and judging choral competitions. Through the Wednesday Music Club, she promoted young singers and musicians.

Grace also loved Altrusa. Her long-time friend and caregiver, Linda Bond, read Altrusa newsletters to Grace. At our November dinner meeting, Linda presented our Club with a gift bequeathed by Grace in the amount of $9,955.09, which will be used for music scholarships in memory of our amazing Grace Sanford.
